Urad dal and wheat prices fall

Prices of urad dal and wheat decreased while those of other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Urad dal opened at Rs 8,000, a fall of Rs 200 per quintal from its previous closing of Rs 8,200.
Wheat was lower by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 2,300 from Saturday's rate of Rs 2,400.
Tur dal, moong dal, gram dal, sugar, maida (90 kg) and sooji (90 kg) ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri- commodities (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,300 Urad Dal Rs 8,000 Moong Dal Rs 9,700 Gram Dal Rs 3,800 Sugar Rs 3,200 Wheat Rs 2,300 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,500.
