Urad dal, wheat and sooji prices fall

Prices of urad dal, wheat and sooji moved down while other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here in the week that ended today.
On Monday, the price of urad dal fell by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 16,500 from its previous rates of Rs 16,800 and finished the week at Rs 16,500.
Wheat prices decreased by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 2,400 from Rs 2,600 and closed the week at Rs 2,400.
Sooji(90 kg) opened the week at Rs 3,100, less by Rs 100 from Rs 3,200 and its prices ruled steady at Rs 3,100 till this weekend.
Thoor dal (Rs 13,800), Moong dal (Rs 9,000), Gram dal (Rs 6,800) ,Sugar (Rs 3,900) and Maida (Rs 2,500) prices ruled steady throughout the week.
