Urad, moth rise on stockists buying

Prices of urad and moth strengthened by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on increased buying by stockists driven by rising demand.
Marketmen said increased buying by stockists on the back of rising demand against limited arrivals from producing regions mainly led to the rise in urad and moth prices.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,200-5,700 and Rs 6,400-6,600, while urad dal best quality and dhoya traded higher by the same margin to Rs 6,650-7,250 and Rs 6,900-7,300 per quintal respectively.
Moth also seen in demand and gained Rs 50 at Rs 4,550-4,950 per quintal.
