Urja Global approves Rs 110 cr investment in Chhattisgarh

Urja Global Ltd today said that its board has approved a memorandum of understanding with Chhattisgarh for investing Rs 110 crore in electronic manufacturing cluster scheme at Naya Raipur.
"Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 7, 2015 has considered and approved.. Ratification of MoU signed with the Government of Chhattisgarh for investing Rs 110 crore in Electronics Manufacturing Cluster Scheme at Naya Raipur," the company said in a BSE filing today.

Insecticides India launches mobile app for farmers * Agrochemicals maker Insecticides India Ltd (IIL) has launched its mobile application for farmers to help them get latest information about its products and their usage at the click of a button.
Customers can get updated about new IIL products. All the information like product's type, category, features, packing, dosage, insect/weed/disease covered is now available with them for 24 hrs, an official statement said.
The name of the app is 'Insecticides' and is currently available on Android. It can also be downloaded from Google Play store at free of cost, it added.

* In the crowded e-commerce space, coupon codes are rampantly used to get discounts but in a novel initiative, Faasoos--an online food technology company, is asking its customers to use coupon code which will be used for charity.
Faasoos said between November 10 and December 10, 2015, the entire order amount with unique coupon code 'Lightup' will be donated towards bringing smile to the orphans afflicted with HIV.

CoCubes tie up with Association of HR Professionals Sri Lanka * Online assessment and campus hiring platform CoCubes Technologies today said it has tied up with Association of HR Professionals (HRP), Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka is the fourth overseas destination after United States, Africa and Japan where CoCubes provides skill assessment services.
"Cocubes-powered tests introduced to Sri Lanka by HRP will help organisations reach optimal return on investment by providing customised plug-ins to already existing online learning management systems," CoCubes HRP President Chiranthi Cooray said.
