The 70-year-old singer took to Twitter to ask the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star to put her selfie to work "for a good cause," reported Aceshowbiz.
The tweet comes after Middler slammed the mother of two for posting her photo online.
The singer uploaded a photoshopped image of herself holding a cardboard sign, which read, "Like Kim.. Put your selfie to work for a good cause!"
"@KimKardashian Put your selfie to work... For a good cause! Donate, RT, I'll match $$ 2-1," Middler tweeted, adding a link to the page of her charity, Stages for Success, which aims to improve auditoriums in public schools for child singers and performers.
