Uttar Pradesh gets light to moderate rain

Southwest monsoon remained active over Uttar Pradesh today leading to rains and thundershowers in the eastern and western parts of the state.
The MeT office said heavy to very heavy rain occurred at isolated places.
Hamirpur received 15 cms of rain followed by Dudhi (12), Baberu (9), Lalgunj, Rasulabad, Aunla (8 each), Naraini, Hardoi, Karvi (6 each) and Badaun and Eglas (5 cm each).
According to the MeT office, rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in the eastern parts and most places in the western parts of the state tomorrow.
