VA Tech Wabag Q2 net rises 8.5 pc to Rs 15 cr

Water treatment player VA Tech Wabag has registered an 8.51 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 15.42 crore for the September quarter.
The Chennai-based company had logged a consolidated net profit at Rs 14.21 crore a year ago.
The consolidated total income from operations for July-September 2015 rose to Rs 602.45 crore, from Rs 506.96 crore in the year-ago period.
"Our strategy to grow in diversified geographies has enabled us to deliver consistent order intake, notwithstanding the muted progress in the Indian market," VA Tech Wabag MD Rajiv Mittal said.

N V Srinivasan new Regional Prez of Indo-American Chamber * Trade body Indo-American Chamber of Commerce today announced the appointment of N V Srinivasan as Regional President for 2015-16.
Srinivasan is currently serving as Managing Partner, NVS and Associates and Legal Consultants. He was elected as the Regional President of the Chamber at a meeting held here recently, a release said.
The Hyderabad-based IT firm CSS Technergy CMD Ravi Vishnu was elected as Regional Vice-President of the chamber, it said.
