A 63-year-old pilgrim from Jharkhand died Tuesday after falling unconscious enroute Vaishno Devi cave shrine in Trikuta hills of Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, police said.
Duryodhan Pradhan, a resident of Chakradharpur area of Jharkhand, was on his way to Bhawan (abode of Goddess) when he suddenly fell unconscious, they said.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby community health centre where doctors declared him brought dead, a police official said.
The body would be handed over to his family members after completion of legal formalities, the official said.
