Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is likely to leave for Delhi later today, in the backdrop of critical condition of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, an official said.
"The chief minister is now in Chimur in Vidarbha region for a public event. He will go to Nagpur and from there, fly to Delhi later this afternoon," a CMO official told PTI.
Vajpayee, 93, was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on June 11 with a kidney tract infection, urinary tract infection, low urine output and chest congestion.
The BJP veteran's condition remains critical and he continues to be on advanced life-support system, AIIMS said in a statement today.
