Vasan demands immediate steps to trace missing fishermen

Congress leader and former Union Minister G K Vasan today damanded immediate steps by coast gurad to trace four fishermen, who were reported missing few days ago from Mandapam in Ramanathapuram district.
Talking to reporters here, he said three fishermen were reported missing 10 days ago in Mandapam area and one yesterday.
The coast guard personnel should take steps on war footing to trace them, he said.
The local body byelection was announced hurriedly and that was why most of the parties abstaind from contesting the elections, he said.
