"We are reaching out to high networth individuals in metros and tier 2 cities. Soon we will also start e-commerce vertical which will help us break-even by November, which is by the end of first year of our operation," Vedic Brahman Founder and CEO Piyush Srivastava told PTI.
He said that unique differentiating factor for Vedic Brahman is that it is partnering with brahmins qualified from Banaras Hindu University and Sampurnanand Sanskrit University for performing Hindu pujas.
Vedic Brahman is providing puja plans costing in the range of Rs 11,000 to Rs 5 lakh at present.
Vedic Brahman has hired 5 managers from The Indian Institutes of Management who will operate its entire e-commerce business.
The startup is offering services in Delhi NCR and plans to expand to 30 cities, including Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore.
"In the first 6 months, we are only focusing on Delhi NCR. After that, we intend to cover 6 major cities which include Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore and Ahmedabad. These are the cities which have maximum number of working professionals from North India. So, they are our obvious choice," Srivastava said.
