Veerendra Kumar condoles death of Karthikeyan

Janata Dal (United) Kerala unit President M P Veerendra Kumar today condoled the death of Congress leader and Kerala Assembly speaker G Karthikeyan.
In his condolence message, Kumar said Karthikeyan, who was minister earlier, has his own opinion in all matters and as the Speaker, he proved his expertise and efficiency. He was a leader who took firm position in politics, Kumar said.
"As a speaker, Karthikeyan conducted assembly proceedings in impartial and efficient manner", he said.
He was also a good reader of books, he said. "Those who know him, cannot forget him", he said in his message.
The void created by the demise of Karthikeyan in public life will remain for a long period, Kumar said.
