India and Venezuela today signed cultural exchange programme in bid to give a boost cooperation in the fields literature, art, film and media, image and space arts and stage and music arts.
The Indian delegation, led by Secretary of Culture Ravindra Singh and Venezuela's Minister of State for the Promotion of Cultural Economy and Ministry of People's Power for Culture Javier Sarabia held delegation-level talks, an official statement said.
The exchange programme would remain valid for three years.
"We would like to borrow the expertise of Bollywood for our film industry," said Sarabia, after signing the Programme.
Also, they would facilitate, in accordance with their domestic legislation, the customs and tax conditions in order to provide assistance to the International Book Fairs in their respective countries.
