"Veronese" wins main event at Hyderabad race
Press Trust of India Hyderabad Rank outsider "Veronese", ably ridden by jockey Neeraj Rawal, won the main event of the Golconda Oaks (Grade II) distance about 2400 M of the 18th day of the winter races here today.
The winner was trained by Laxman S.
Jockey Suraj Narredu scored a double, while trainer Laxman scored a triple.
Only one first favourite obliged in a card of nine events.
