Veteran CITU leader Vakar-Ul-Ahad passes away

Veteran CITU leader Vakar-Ul-Ahad today died after prolonged illness at his home, party sources said. He was 79.
Ahad was vice-president of the Rajasthan State Committee the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU).
Ahad's body was buried at Ghat-gate burial ground here in presence of many state-level trade union leaders and CPI(M) functionaries.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
In a condolence message, CITU state president Ravindra Shukla said Ahad was a popular leader who devoted his life to fight for the rights of working class.
