Fashion designer Victoria Beckham has announced that she will soon be launching a skincare line.
The 43-year-old entrepreneur revealed her business plans in a Facebook Live video from her store in Dover Street.
Beckham said with the success of her 14-piece collaboration with high-end cosmetics chain Estee Lauder two years ago, a skincare collection was a natural next step.
She added she felt the need to go for a skincare line with certain products that were missing from her beauty regime.
"I'm developing my own skincare and fragrance now. I make what I want in my life. It's a filling a gap. As a woman, I want to make the things that I need in my life, the things that are missing," the former Spice Girl said.
The tightly designed makeup collection ranged from smoky eyeshadows to nude lip glosses. The products sold out immediately.
She added that she was working with top ingredients, latest technologies and trying to learn as much as she could.
"I'm having fun with the skincare, it's going to be very scientific. I'm working with the best.
"I really want to learn. I want to educate myself."
