Videocon Ind shares up 5% after 25-days of losing streak

Shares of Videocon Industries today rose by 5 per cent, snapping its 25 trading sessions of continuous decline.
The stock went up by 4.94 per cent to close at Rs 18.05 -- its upper circuit limit -- on BSE.
At NSE, shares of the company gained 4.88 per cent to Rs 18.25.
On the volume front, 61.24 lakh shares of the company were traded on BSE and over 79 lakh shares changed hands at NSE during the day.
In the past 25 trading sessions, the stock has slumped by nearly 83 per cent, wiping out Rs 2,755.3 crore from its market valuation.
The stock price has come down from Rs 100.45 as on May 19 to Rs 18.05 today.
