Bachchan, who will be next seen in Chopra's "Wazir", earlier worked with him in his directorial home production "Eklavya: The Royal Guard" in 2007.
"He is a very fine producer. He takes care of the artist and creates an atmosphere where the artists never have any problems. Every need of the artist gets fulfilled," Bachchan told reporters here.
"Many actors who have worked with him before told me that if you are working with him he will take care of you. It is a great thing for any artist," he added.
Narrating an incident of how he had shown his diploma film to Bachchan, Chopra said, "When I had graduated from film institute, he (Bachchan) was huge star. I went to him, he saw my diploma film and said when do we work together.
"It's been 30-40 years... He has come from Kolkata to record the song today so I think its a great friendship," he said.
The 73-year-old actor said he came to record the song after just one phone call from Chopra.
