Vikander to replace Mara in 'The Girl in the Spider's Web'

Alicia Vikander is set to replace Rooney Mara in "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" sequel.
Titled "The Girl in the Spider's Web" the film is based an adaptation of Stieg Larsson's book of the same name, reported The Wrap.
"Spider's Web" is the fourth book in Larsson's "Millenium" series.
The novel was completed by David Lagercrantz after Larsson died in 2004.
The story revolves around Salander and journalist Mikael Blomkvist working together again to uncover secrets surrounding cyber criminals and spies.
Scott Rudin and former Sony chief Amy Pascal are producing the film along with Elizabeth Cantillon and Swedish production company Yellow Bird.
The first book in the series, "Dragon Tattoo" was adapted by David Fincher in 2011.
