Village head arrested for selling woman for 20k

A former village head and two others were arrested from Deva area here for allegedly selling a woman for Rs 20,000.
Former sarpanch of Sharifabad village Ramkumar Yadav, Krishna Kumar and another person were arrested by police for selling the woman aged about 40 for Rs 20,000, police said today.
The woman was recovered from Kumar's house in Mangupur village here in an unconscious state and the accused have been booked under relevant sections of IPC for human trafficking, they said.
