Villagers block NH to protest against Newspaper

The agitators demanded an unconditional apology from the newspaper which they claimed defamed them by publishing "concocted reports".

The protesters withdrew the agitation after the editor of the daily promised to publish the grievances of the local people in the front page of the newspaper tomorrow, Superintendent of Police (Puri) Anup Kumar Sahu said.

The blockade continued from 5 am to 1 pm.
