Chinese handset maker Vivo has launched a new smartphone -- V5 Plus -- in the Indian market, priced at Rs 27,980, as it looks to expand in the premium handset segment.
The flagship device features a 20MP dual front camera, which allows users to click selfies with 'bokeh' effect (allows users to choose focus area in a photograph taken by the front camera).
"Vivo has revolutionised the selfie experience with its first-ever 20MP front camera. The dual front camera in the device makes pictures and videos more immersive with a wider colour gamut. With V5 Plus, we are confident that Vivo's new offering will be a defining moment in the much in-vogue selfie phenomenon that is here to stay," Vivo India CEO Kent Cheng said.
