Prospective customers can now book the '21st Century Beetle' through select Volkswagen showrooms across the country or via online, Volkswagen India said in a statement.
"Beetle is an icon of automotive history and its launch in the latest avatar is a moment of celebration for Volkswagen in India," Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, Director, Michael Mayer, Director said.
Beetle reflects the fundamental attitude of its owner so the company has made its booking opportunity also as a special experience, he added.
"The combination of performance, design, equipment and exclusive availability will ensure that the 21st century Beetle is all set to write its next historic chapter in India," Mayer said.
It also comes with features like sunroof, bi-xenon headlamps, leather interiors and chrome packages for interior and exterior.
