Vuclip appoints Apurva Desai as Chief Financial Officer

Mobile video and media firm Vuclip today said it has appointed Apurva Desai as the company's Chief Financial Officer.
In his new role, Desai will oversee global accounting, financial planning and analysis, legal, human resources and other operational support functions at Vuclip.
"Desai brings over 15 years of operational and financial experience with publicly and privately-held global companies based in the Silicon Valley," Vuclip said in a release.
Before joining Vuclip, Desai was Vice-President Finance for Exponential Interactive, a global provider of advertising intelligence and digital media solutions to brand advertisers, managing all global financial planning and analysis, sales operations, and facilities responsibilities, it added.

Desai also held leadership position in finance at Glu Mobile, a leading mobile games publisher, Yahoo! and Intel Corporation for over a decade.
He began his career with Ernst & Young as a financial and information systems auditor and brings extensive global experience, having directly managed teams in the US, Europe, India and China, Vuclip said.
"We are confident his experience in mobile and digital advertising industries globally combined with an excellent track record in financial management will help continue to build upon Vuclip's market leadership ," Vuclip CEO Nickhil Jakatdar said.
