The All-India Vaish Agarwal Samaj today offered its wholehearted support to Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and her Congress party for the upcoming Assembly elections.
The decision was taken at the Maharaja Agarwal Jayanti Samaroh organised by the community at her residence.
"Dikshit has been following the ideals of Maharaja Agrasen and has been working overtime to ensure benefits for the poor and the underprivileged," said BB Gupta, president of the Samaj.
"We are keen to ensure that she takes over as CM for a fourth time to continue and accelerate the pace of development in the city," Gupta added.
