A small town in the US, Hoquiam, is set to celebrate its first-ever Nirvana Day on April 10, next year.
The day would be celebrated to pay tribute to the band's late frontman Kurt Cobain, who was born and raised just four miles away from Hoquiam in Aberdeen, reported Rolling Stone.
Cobain lived in Hoquiam, Washington, for a very short time.
The Mayor of the city, Jack Durney said "Nirvana brings great honour... To our entire community."
Nirvana was a band formed by Cobain and Krist Novoselic in 1987, with drummer Dave Grohl joining in 1990.
