Weather pleasant in WB, thundershowers expected in next 48 hrs

Weather in West Bengal continued to remain pleasant today with Bankura recording the day's highest temperature at 37.3 degrees Celsius.
The Met department has forecast thundershowers in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal in the next two days.
Several parts of Kolkata received sharp showers in the afternoon that kept the temperature just a degree above normal at 36.8 degrees Celsius.
Day temperatures at Sriniketan, Burdwan and Asansol were recorded at 37.1 degrees, 36.8 degrees and 36.9 degrees C respectively.
The weather in Darjeeling hills were also pleasant at 18.2 degrees, the day's highest, while the lowest temperature being recorded at 12.2 degrees C.
