WEPL wins Golden Peacock Innovative Service Award

Welspun Energy has announced bagging Golden Peacock Innovative Service Award 2014 for the innovations made by the company in the solar power sector.
Governor of Kerala Sheila Dikshit commended presented the Golden Peacock Innovative Service Award 2014 to Welspun Energy for the innovations made by the company in Modified Module Mounting Structure, which is used for the installation of modules in solar power projects.
"The modified module mounting structure is a great example for ingenuity by streamlining the structure than the usual industry design. The Golden Peacock award recognizes this key quality of the organisation and drives us to bring ingenuity in our functioning and file many more patents," Vineet Mittal, Managing Director Welspun Energy said in a company statement.

Shilpa Shetty opens Satyug Gold store in Ludhiana * Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty opened an outlet for her gold and bullion company Satyug Gold in Ludhiana yesterday.
Accompanied by her husband Raj Kundra, who belongs to the city, Shilpa Shetty said, "I am Bahu (daughter in law) of Ludhiana and thus every visit is special when it comes to Ludhiana. Today I got all the pampering of being a daughter-in-law".

Shetty had launched the company last month and said it will have outlets in seven cities.
Satyug Gold has entered into long-term contracts with gold mines all over the world and also owns two refineries in India, Shetty, who is Chairperson of the company, had said.

The outlets will be in Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Chandigarh and Ludhiana. These outlets will feature regular collections of jewellery designed by the actress.
