West Bengal to observe Raksha Bandhan as 'Sankriti Divas'

The West Bengal government has decided to celebrate Raksha Bandhan festival as 'Sanskriti Divas', officials said today.
As per the directions of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, youth affairs department will organise programmes all over the state in the evening to mark both Raksha Bandhan festival on August 18 and 'Sanskriti Divas'.
A state-level program will be held at Esplanade Metro channel.
