At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, wheat for delivery in January month jumped up by Rs 35, or 1.84 per cent to Rs 1,936 per quintal with an open interest of 2,700 lots.
In a similar fashion, the wheat for delivery in February was trading higher by Rs 10, or 0.53 per cent to Rs 1,888 per quintal in 3,400 lots.
