The 38-year-old musician who starred in the musical as Keith, alongside Gosling said he was green with envy when he saw the actor play piano effortlessly, reported FemaleFirst.
"The fact that he learnt as well as he did is pretty impressive for someone who didn't normally ... In fact I was a little bit jealous," said Legend.
The "All of Me" singer added, "He works so hard, I haven't seen any of his flaws yet!"
Legend also said that he has been Gosling's fan for quite some time and was excited to work with him.
