The 21-year-old was unresponsive when found by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend at her townhouse in a Roswell subdivision. She was taken to North Fulton Hospital "still alive and breathing", reported Us Weekly.
"He started CPR and a police officer took over life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived. She was transported to the hospital. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers," said a representative for the Roswell, Georgia Police Department.
The incident comes nearly three years after her famous mother died in the same manner.
"Healing energy to the daughter of a late great friend," tweeted music director Michael Bearden. Meanwhile, songwriter Diane Warren wrote, "I hope Bobbi Kristina gets the help she needs. Poor thing, almost 3 yrs to the day her mom passed and the same thing almost happened to her."
Three years ago, a grieving Bobbi Kristina was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center days after her mother's death. She is Whitney's only daughter with ex-husband Bobby Brown. The late singer was found drowning in a bathtub in a suite at the Beverly Hilton hotel on the eve of the 2012 Grammy Awards.
