The children all students of class III and IV of Hatgachi Primary School in Old Malda Block were returning to their homes from school yesterday when they saw some unknown fruits in trees and ate them.
After reaching home they started vomiting and loose motion and as their condition deteriorated, they were rushed to Malda Medical College Hospital, the hospital sources said adding that all the children were in the age group of 9 to 10 years.
