Mother Kolileben also graced the gala function that lasted nearly two hours.
Mukesh's wife Nita and three children and also his sisters were present on the occasion.
The event started with Mukesh's children Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani anchoring the show to start the event. Kokilaben lit the lamps and she was joined by Mukesh and his wife Nita Ambani, Akash, Anant and Isha on the dais.
Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, who will be the brand ambassador for the Jio's 4G mobile and broadband services, performed at the function including the hit Gerua song from his latest movie Dilwale.
A R Rehman performed the famous Jai Ho and a track from Swadesh.
In 2003 Mukesh launched Reliance's CDMA mobile business on the same day, birth anniversary of RIL group founder and his father Dhirubhai Ambani, tag line 'Kar Lo Duniya Mutthi mein'.
The two brothers have already come together for sharing of mobile airwaves or spectrum as well as infrastructure like mobile towers and masts.
The partnership brings together the once-feuding Ambani brothers who had had an ugly public feud after death of their father Dhirubhai Ambani in 2002 to split the Reliance empire.
In their telecom partnership, Anil's Reliance Communications will access 4G mobile networks of Jio, which, in turn, can use the former's 2G and 3G networks when needed.
Mukesh's Jio had in the past partnered Reliance Communications, India's fourth-biggest mobile phone carrier, for sharing of mobile masts and leasing of optic fibre network.
Reliance Communications will also enter into a pact with Jio for trading and sharing of 4G mobile airwaves.
