Wholesale dry fruits, Kirana markets close today

The wholesale dry fruits, kirana and chemical markets remained closed today as traders refrained from doing any business, protesting against last week's incident when a dry fruit trader was robbed of Rs 1.5 crore in Tilak Bazar Market at Lahori Gate.
The marketmen are protesting against alleged police inaction in the case.
