Sucha Singh, husband of Gagandeep, committed suicide on July 27, 2011, as he was upset with his wife and mother-in-law who used to harass him and threatened to implicate him in a false case of dowry.
Sucha Singh committed suicide in Jatpura Mohalla in Sirhind where he had come to meet his close relative Kuldeep Singh.
Kuldeep Singh found his body hanging in a room. After Sucha Singh's death, a case was registered against Gagandeep and Paramjit Kaur on the statement of Kuldeep.
