Bollywood filmmaker Rakesh Roshan said only if his upcoming superhero movie "Krrish 3" succeeds at the box office, he will take the story further with another film.
"Krrish 3", starring Rakesh's actor son Hrithik Roshan, is the third film of the 'Krrish' franchise. The film will hit theatres this Diwali (November 4) in Hindi, as well as in Telegu and Tamil.
"If this movie ('Krrsih 3') does well, then we will carry it forward. It is the only film with a story going ahead - it is just not the name, it is the film where the story is continuing with 'Koi Mil Gaya', 'Krrish' and 'Krrish 3' where you can identify all the characters," Rakesh said at the film's promotional event here.
"Krrish 3" also stars Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut.
Hrithik said the film was a built up on stories from the earlier two films, the only difference being that this time that hero is landing as a full-fledged super hero to fight a super villain.
"He (Rakesh) is taking the franchise forward in a very big and challenging way. He has pushed the bar as far the imagination is concerned," the actor said.
The 39-year-old actor also recounted the pressure on his producer-director father while making the film.
"As director and producer, I know what my father has been through trying to not hold back what he is creating. But being a producer (he was) thinking that how are we ever going to achieve this. It is just not possible. But then he does the impossible things," he said.
Hrithik said that being part of "Krrish 3" was a challenge and he hopes his superhero character will inspire people.
"When I am faced with a challenge, I am Krrish. But then anybody can be Krrish - it is just a mental shift. I believe that there is a Krrish in all of us," the actor said.
Hrithik alongwith his father also participated in the Singapore International Deepavali Shopping Festival.
The actor took part in a roadshow with school children at the Global International Indian School.
