The 41-year-old recording artist said he respects the fact that the singer, who joined the group on their third LP "Elephunk" in 2003, as the only female vocalist, is too busy at the moment, reported Femalefirst.
"In 1995, we performed with The Black Eyed Peas without Fergie. So in my memory bank, that's The Black Eyed Peas. Of course we are going to perform with Fergie when that version of The Black Eyed Peas comes together.
"But until then, we are still going to perform with The Black Eyed Peas circa 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001... I can't wait to perform with Fergie again. Is she just too busy at the moment? We all have these separate things that we're doing. I don't know what 'too busy' is," he said.
