Television actor Karan Mehra, who is one of the house inmates on the tenth season of celebrity reality show "Bigg Boss," says he will not do things to grab eyeballs.
"I will be myself on 'Bigg Boss'. I will not go and clash to set the camera rolling on my face. People have misconceptions that celebrities lead a different life, we are also common man.
"I don't forget the fact where I came from and where I am today. Its because of the love of common man that I have earned a name for myself," Karan told PTI.
Karan became a household name as 'Naitik' from "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai" and he is thankful to the fans for all the love and support.
On daily soap the actor was seen as a soft-spoken person.
"I am like that only in real life. I am a cool, calm and composed person. 'Bigg Boss' will be a challenge for me.. It will be a different experience," he adds.
After he quit the popular daily soap he was open to do different kind of shows.
"I was open to trying different things, when 'Bigg Boss' offer came I took it up as a challenge. Staying away from family will be a challenge," he added.
The season ten of 'Bigg Boss' has common man and celebrities locked in the house this time.
"I miss roaming, walking down the streets and taking a public transport as a common man. It will be fun being with common people on the show, " he added.
Hosted by superstar Salman Khan "Bigg Boss" is aired on Colors channel.
