Wipro partners with DEN Networks

IT major Wipro today announced a strategic partnership with DEN Networks Ltd to enhance customer experience for the Cable and Broadband businesses of DEN networks.
DEN Networks is a leading Indian cable distribution firm and the alliance will help in accelerating DEN Networks' evolution from being a B2B organisation, to a B2C organisation, Wipro said in a release.
The company said through this alliance, DEN Networks will be able to provide its customers, Local Cable Operators and partners with real time efficient services, thereby ensuring continuous engagement and zero downtime.
Besides, Wipro has also signed an agreement with enterprise solutions giant SAP under which the Indian firm will deliver managed mobility services for SAP mobile solutions.
Wipro's cloud-based, managed mobility services offering for SAP mobile solutions will span SAP solutions including SAP Mobile Platform, SAP Work Manager mobile app and SAP Mobile Secure solution for mobile device and application management.
"We see an increase in investments in mobility from companies across the utilities, mining, government and retail sectors and believe this offering will enable a game-changing proposition in the enterprise-mobility space," Wipro Global Head - Mobility Gaurav Dhall said.

"IndusInd Bank has launched a new customer-centric service titled Video Branch. This innovative offering enables customers to do a video-conference with a bank staff. This is a first-of-its-kind initiative in banking industry facilitating customers to interact with staff at their own convenience...," the bank said in a statement.
"In a move to digitise the banking experience for all customers, IndusInd Bank video branch is a 24x7 unique innovative service allowing customers to interact face-to-face with their bank branch using desktop, tablet or smart phone...," IndusInd Bank, Head-Consumer Banking, Sumant Kathpalia said.

ACK Nair elected to Asia-Pacific Director board * Cochin International Airport Director, A C K Nair has been elected to the Asia-Pacific Regional Director Board of Airport Council International, which is the only global trade representative of the world's airport.
The election procedure was held at the Regional Assembly convened in Seoul, South Korea, CIAL press release said today.
Nair, who has been serving as the airport Director of Cochin International Airport since 2004, will have a tenure of three years.
