Woman arrested for killing mother-in-law

A woman allegedly murdered her mother-in-law during an altercation following which she has been arrested here, police said.
The accused, identified as one Nageena Devi, of Masudpur village, was arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of her 60-year-old mother-in-law, Imrati Devi, said SP Rajesh Singh.
The incident took place on March 1 when the accused, who is said to be in her forties, hit Imrati Devi with a heavy stone as they got into a quarrel, he said, adding that the body of the deceased had been dumped outside of the house.
"After the body was recovered, the woman was questioned and she later confessed to the crime," said the SP.
