Woman caught carrying 1.5 kg gold, held at airport

An Indian woman passenger from Dubai was arrested after 1.5 kg gold was found from her bags at the city airport today, officials said.
Mamta Gopal Pujari of Mumbai landed at the NSC Bose International Airport here in an Emirates flight.
1.5 kg gold valued at Rs 41 lakh was found in the form of coil and rod which were concealed in her trolley bag and hand bag, airport officials said, adding, following this she was arrested.
