A woman died and two of her family members were injured when the roof of her house collapsed here, police said today.
The deceased was identified as Santosh (65), a resident of Topkhana area of Ambala Cantonment.
She was sleeping in her room along with her husband Shyam Lal and granddaughter Anchal when the roof of her house collapsed around midnight yesterday, the police said.
She was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared her dead while her husband and granddaughter sustained minor injuries.
