While the deceased's husband and his family claimed that she committed suicide by hanging herself with a dupatta, victim's family accused her in-laws of killing her.
The incident came to light when the woman, identified as Neha Pandey was rushed to a private hospital in the area by her in-laws where doctors declared her brought dead. The hospital authorities then informed police who took the body in custody and sent it for post mortem.
"Victim's father has told us that her daughter's in-laws have been demanding a car from them and they had also been mistreating her since she gave birth to a girl two years ago," a police officer said.
