According to Kartarpur DSP Jasvir Singh Rai, the deceased, Indrajit Kaur, a mother of two, was found hanging in the kitchen of her house, by a neighbour, who informed the police about it.
Sources investigating the matter said that police has arrested the victim's husband Harjinder Singh, mother-in law Gurbaksh and father in-law Sohan Singh in connection with the case.
The victim's family members alleged that Kaur's in-laws and husband used to physically and mentally torture her and accused them of murder.
