Woman gangraped by two occultists in UP

A woman was allegedly gangraped at gunpoint by two 'occultists' on the pretext of treating her in a forested area here, police said today.
The accused identified as Fariuddin and Ehsan, residents of Meerut district, posed as occultists and raped the victim at gunpoint on Aug 11, police said.
According to the complaint lodged by the victim, she hails from Uttarakhand and used to visit a mausoleum where she met the accused. They gave her medicines which cured her for a short span, police said.
However, her condition deteriorated after 14 days following which she contacted the accused, who called her to another village to meet senior occultists, they added.

The victim was taken to a forested area towards Moradabad and was gangraped, police said, adding that a case has been registered and efforts are on to nab the accused.
