Woman, grandson shot dead by neighbours in Ghaziabad

A woman and her grandson were shot dead today allegedly by neighbours for throwing cow dung in their premises and not letting them tie their cows near their house at Bheem Nagar here, police said.
SP KS Emmanuel said Ravindra (25) and Premvati (65) were shot dead around 4pm by Krishan, Golu and Satyendra.
"A heated argument broke out after the victims didn't allow them to tie their cows near their house and threw cow dung in their premises," the SP said, adding infuriated the accused shot dead the duo.
He added both died on the spot.
Angry family members and locales blocked the Vijaynagar highway demanding immediate arrests. Police resorted to a lathi-charge to disperse them.
No arrest has been made in the case yet, he said.
