Woman held for trying to supply drugs to husband in jail

A woman was arrested for allegedly attempting to supply drugs to her husband, an undertrial prisoner, at the district jail here.
Saira, wife of undertrial prisoner Chand Miyan, was arrested yesterday after 50 gram of charas was recovered from her while checking at the entry gate of the prison, Superintendent of district jail Rakesh Singh said.
A case has been registered and investigation is underway, he said.
