Woman killed as car hits tree while trying to save cow

A 60-year-old woman was killed and her husband injured when the car they were travelling in hit a tree near Goverdhan block here today while trying to save a cow on the road.
The couple, residents of Kamla Nagar in Agra, were going to Goverdhan to pay obeisance at Daan Gati temple when their car hit a tree while trying to save a cow, police said.
While the woman, identified as Shashi Gupta, died on the spot, he husband Gopal Das has been was rushed to the hospital where his condition is stated to be serious, they added.
