Woman killed by in-laws over dowry in Noida

A 27-year-old woman was allegedly beaten to death by her in-laws over dowry demand in Sector 8 here, police said today.
Nawal Kishore, a resident of Delhi, lodged a complaint at Sector 20 police station alleging that his granddaughter Tanu was killed by her husband Pramod Chaudhary and in-laws last night, SP (city) Dinesh Yadav said.
Kishore said that they were demanding cash and home furniture in dowry after the couple's marriage which he was unable to fulfil following which they killed his granddaughter, he said.
Yadav said an FIR has been lodged and investigation is underway.
